Using the LMS Discussion Board

I can not emphasise enough the value of the discussion board on the LMS. I make it a habit to each day look at the discussions and I follow the threads. I find that I learn a lot from reading them and many times I am able to work out a problem I may be having with the same thing. 
I am the first to admit that I don't write on here nearly enough probably because I don't feel overly confident with putting something up there in case it is not 100% correct. Some of the students write such good posts and even create their own video's to help others - this is a little out of my league at the moment.
Funnily enough I find myself helping students face to face so often without a worry so I need to overcome my fears and trust myself and make some postings. This probably comes from my constant use of the LMS and the companion website and how I learn so much from it. I find myself telling others about what I have read and watched and redirect them to these postings. 

Here I have added a screen save of an entry I have added to the discussion board in regards to a query about when we would get our marks for the assignment 1b. I try and put a positive stance to my entries as I have often read entries on other units where people write things that probably should not be written on a public forum.
